BRIEF HISTORY OF MOMO CALGARY
The idea to create a MOCUDAC branch was first initiated in 2015 by 3 bonafide members of the association-Derek Yunga, Cletus Chesami and Jude Enyeawah. The endeavor of these 3 founding fathers was to bring and bind together all sons and daughters (including their spouses and families) of Momo Division residing in the Calgary Metropolitan Region. This of course became a reality as many meetings were held between 2015 and 2016, during which a tentative constitution and the acronym MOCUDAC was adopted.
On August 27 2016 MOCUDAC held it’s first ever elections with Mr. Felix Onari and Mrs. Patience Teboh as pioneer President and Vice President respectively. Within their mandate the pair clearly defined and stated the Mission and Vision of the association, and then led MOCUDAC to a remarkable and successful Grand Launching on August 18 2018.
